Do you have a pre-gig tradition? If so, do tell: Locating band members.
What’s it like managing multiple opinions, styles or ideas? Difficult at times, but well worth it. Each of us comes from a different musical background. Federico is experienced with traditional blues guitar playing, Mick is heavily influenced by funk and soul music and Mike comes from a background in R&B and rock. Being such close friends makes it easier to overcome our creative differences, allowing us to collaborate as a band and create a one of a kind sound.
How do you resolve creative differences and avoid a meltdown? Collaborating and making music despite creative differences is a continuous learning process. Maintaining a certain level of professionalism and mutual respect for each other; makes it easy to avoid a meltdown. We never take for granted that we are all close friends and skilled musicians who get to make music together for a living. Our love and appreciation for being able to do this is what keeps us growing as a band.
