Hi everyone,

Since 2010 Experience York Region has guided you towards the best, most exciting and interesting activities to enjoy and discover in and around your neighbourhoods, communities, and across the region.

Due to the unfolding situation with the spread of COVID-19, many upcoming events, shows, workshops, and other activities scheduled to take place in the next few months are being postponed or cancelled. Local galleries, cultural hubs, and entertainment centres are temporary being closed to visitors.

If you have booked, scheduled or planned to attend an event we ask that you check with each organization directly, either through their social media channels or by connecting with them through their email or website.

To the event, entertainment, and hospitality partners which we highlight or work with each year, we want you to know that we are here for you. You make this region unique, connected, and enjoyable. Your staff, volunteers, and partners help to spread the sounds of music, joyful experiences, and sweet smells of culinary delights across the many neighbourhoods that make our region so special. Your creativity helps to animate our streets and your work helps to keep our natural wonders accessible and clean. We know this is not an easy time, but we will do our best in supporting you, your audiences, and your ideas as things move forward.

Stay connected with us through all of our online platforms. We will continue working on best ways to bring you a bit closer to experiences in your region, now and in the future.

With best wishes!

Experience York Region team

P.S. There are many reasons to be optimistic and hopeful for the future as governments and health officials work to minimize and stop the spread of the virus. There are actions that all of us can take as preventative measures recommended by the WHO and local authorities and public health agencies like the Public Health Agency of Canada.
