Outdoor Concerts to Experience in York Region This Summer
TD Newmarket Music Series
Join the Town of Newmarket every Thursday throughout the months of July and August to check out some of Canada’s hottest tribute acts. With tributes to the legendary Queen, Elvis, The Beach Boys and many more, the TD Newmarket Music Series is sure to have you covered for a groovy Thursday night. Enjoy a beer garden and a BBQ, hosted by Cachet Supper Club and Market Brewing Company. Make sure to bring your dancing shoes!

Concerts in the Park
The City of Vaughan celebrates its 25-year anniversary with its annual “Concerts in the Park Series”, a free six concert series that features musical performances of various genres. From Honeymoon Suit to tributes of legendary acts such as Elvis, Queen, Elton John and many more, a classic concert in the park will be just what your summer needs.

Music at Civic Square
Every Tuesday throughout July and August, the town of East Gwillimbury and New Roads Automotive Group will be hosting free concerts at the Civic Centre, featuring performances from local artists and popular tribute acts. This year’s lineup features a set from tribute acts including A U2 Tribute Band, Summer of 69 and local performances from Scriver Taylor Band and The Rob Watts Band. Make sure to bring a lawn chair, blanket, and of course some dancing shoes. New Roads will be hosting contests for your chance to win some of the best seats in the house.

Music on the Move
In addition to Music at Civic Square, the Town of East Gwillimbury and TD will also host shows at various parks across the town. This is a much smaller series featuring two sets from local artists Twelve32 and Stacey Renee Band. What better way to spend a Tuesday night than to support local musicians from the region?

Nineteen on the Park
Throughout the summer/fall seasons, the Town of Whitchurch- Stouffville will be a destination for outdoor events with a wide array of programming including comedy, concerts, live theatre, film screenings, fundraisers and much more. These events take place at The Lebovic Centre for Arts & Entertainment and tickets to these events can be purchased online at the town’s website.

Jazz in the Plaza
Visit the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts every Tuesday to catch some of Canada’s top jazz acts. These rain or shine events run from 7:00-9:00pm, and are hosted by the Town of Richmond Hill and their proud sponsor Wilson and Niblett. Make it an evening to get dressed in your sharpest outfit and come on out to catch performances by The Sparklettes Duo, Wendy Lands, Tersa Marchione and many more.

Markham Village Music Festival
Markham is celebrating its second annual Markham Village Jazz Festival on June 14th and 15th. This famous stop on the York Region Festival Trail features four stages and lots of craft beer and food vendors. There will be a carnival and even a petting zoo to enjoy animals of many kind. There will be a salsa stage, a Bob Marley tribute and School of Rock shows on both Friday and Saturday.

TD Markham Jazz Festival
Another stop on the York Region Festival Trail, the Markham Jazz Festival features 40+ professional performances. With jazz, blues and other musical stylings can be seen and heard across three stages, throughout various pubs and restaurants in Markham. There will also be multiple interactive art zones throughout the downtown area.

Concerts in the Park
TD Bank and the Town of Aurora are celebrating their fifth annual Concerts in the Park Series. Every Wednesday throughout the months of June, July and August, join the community in Aurora Town Park for 9 unique performances this summer. Throughout these performances, there will be mini markets set up by the Aurora Farmers Market and Artisan Fair. There will even be a competition-Magna Hoedown Showdown where you can watch a battle between 20 emerging Canadian country acts. Grab your friends and family and come on down.
