Outdoor Fun

Our fingers are crossed that the warm weather is here to stay for awhile! It truly is a great feeling to get outside and enjoy everything York Region has to offer. We thought we’d pull together some fun options for you to consider when you’re planning your next outing in the area.

Canada’s Wonderland

If you’re a thrill-seeker, you’ll be happy to know that Canada’s Wonderland is introducing two new rides for 2018! The Lumberjack let’s your feet dangle, while you soar 360 degrees in the air on two giant swinging ‘axe’ pendulums. With inversions reaching up to 75 feet (22m) high, Lumberjack will give riders the sensation of an inverted coaster loop. Beard not required!

The Flying Canoes is an interactive family ride that allows guests to step into a two-person ‘magical’ canoe and control their journey of flight through the air.

And of course there will be Celebration Canada, a month-long birthday celebration starting June 30 and featuring a spectacular fireworks display on July 1, West Coast Lumberjacks, Cirque Canadien, the Craz-E-Crew Stunt Team, live music, authentic Canadian food, street performers and more. Ride the Wind Rentals
