The Summer Artists in Residence at the Mill Pond Gallery will feature new artists each week. A new residency will begin each Friday, and end on Thursday evening after the Concert in the Park at the Mill Pond. Stop in to see the artists at work throughout the week!
Katie Argyle works in a variety of mediums including acrylic, printmaking and ceramics.
Whether it is plein air sketches or studio watercolour or pastel, Greg Chiykowski strives to capture the wonder and majesty of the natural landscape. Join him as he continues his painting journey to capture the grandeur and beauty of his latest hiking adventures in Texas, Tennessee and Switzerland.
Andrea End will be showing a series of linocut reduction prints. In this print making technique the block is destroyed in the making of the artwork. A metaphor for our behaviour these glimpses into the forest invite you to pause and reflect. Andrea will be working in this technique. This project is funded in part by the Town of Richmond Hill’s Community and Culture Grant program.
The Mill Pond Gallery is located in the heart of historic Richmond Hill across from beautiful Mill Pond Park. No admission fee, free parking.
