This March Break, jump, hop, roll, skip, fly, run or glide on over to Markham Museum to explore the world of locomotion. Visit our Markham Moves exhibition and discover how transportation has changed in Markham in the past 200 years and how cities have been designed by the way we move around. Explore the many ways animals move from place to place through hands-on experiments in our Locomotion Lab and brush up on your physics in a fun and interactive way on our Newton’s Laws Tour.
This three-part, indoor and outdoor, family drop-in program includes the Markham Moves Exhibition, the Locomotion Lab and our Newton’s Laws Tour where you will visit a collection of our historic buildings and studio spaces to explore Newton’s Laws through interactive activities designed for the whole family. Activities are designed for all members of the family to participate in and is ideal for families with children ages 4-12.
