Honey of a Day at the Woodbridge Village Farmers Market

Dickey Bee Honey’s owners, Peter and Sandi Dickey from Cookstown will tell us how local honey is produced and the importance of preserving the honey bee population. View the inside of a bee hive. Come learn some of the environmental factors threatening bees in our area and what we can do about them. Of course, come for the produce, fresh picked from local farms and talk to the real farmers. There are bakery items, fruit pies & strudels, hot or cold meat pies, wraps and sausage rolls, waffles & crepes, to eat or take home. The very popular Kids Club continues with engaging activities for the children.

This Saturday, August 19, Dickey Bee Honey’s owners, Peter and Sandi Dickey from Cookstown will tell us how local honey is produced and the importance of preserving the honey bee population. View the inside of a bee hive. Come learn some of the environmental factors threatening bees in our area and what we can do about them.

Of course, come for the produce, fresh picked from local farms and talk to the real farmers. Fresh Corn and Peaches too! There are bakery items, fruit pies & strudels, hot or cold meat pies, wraps and sausage rolls to eat or take home. Checkout the waffles and crepes. The very popular Kids Club continues with engaging activities for the children.
