The Latcham Gallery

The Latcham Gallery offers exhibitions of contemporary art by emerging and mid-career artists working in all media. Hands-on classes, workshops and special events further inspire creativity. We encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to explore visual art by being exposed to new perspectives and ideas, challenging perceptions and encouraging discussion and involvement with art and the ideas that artists present through their work.

The Latcham Gallery is the public art gallery located in Stouffville, Ontario, 45 minutes north-east of Toronto. It is dedicated to providing opportunities for members of the community to view art and the ideas that artists express through contemporary art.

The Latcham Gallery was started in 1979 by a group of local artists and visionaries who saw the need for an arts facility in Whitchurch- Stouffville. The Gallery was named after local philathropist Arthur Latcham who donated money to a number of local buildings including the building that was to house the Gallery at 6240 Main Street.
