We provides space for music & meetings, a Gallery Shoppe that features the original works of local artists.
The GCAC features exhibitions each year showcasing emerging and established artists who work in a variety of media and artistic expression as well as making available to the public pieces from our permanent collection.
In 2004, the GCAC gained worldwide recognition when it acquired the magnificent Smith-Chiarandini collection. This priceless permanent exhibit features over 110 landscape, portrait and still life paintings by renowned painter, Albert Chiarandini. This comprehensive collection of work was donated by Bruce Smith.
Of note, the GCAC is home to pieces from the renowned Photographer Tom Zsolt. The Georgina Centre for Arts & Culture proudly houses and preserves the largest collection of his photography.
We offer various art classes and workshops for all ages throughout the year; Including march break camps and P.A. Day classes and a variety of Summer camps for the children.
The GCAC is a registered Charity and is supported by the Trillium Foundation of Ontario, the Southlake Community Futures Development, the Town of Georgina and various donations, memberships, sponsorships and fundraising events.
