During the summer 2022, there was a Call for Entry for poetry submitted by poets and writers across King Township and York Region. Artists are now invited to select UP TO 3 POEMS and use them as the inspiration for up to 3 pieces of artwork. The Call for Artist opened October 24, 2022 and closes February 28, 2023 (11:59 p.m.). The Across the Rainbow’s Arc exhibition will showcase the artwork with the poem that inspired it. The exhibition will be held from April 17 to June 2, 2023 at the King Municipal Building.
There is no fee to enter this exhibition. Once you have selected a poem, please complete the application with information about your artwork, specifically the name of poem and size.
Entry is now open! Artists may download the poem package or browse at their pleasure.
