A bride’s trousseau depended on the family’s financial stature. Items would include lingerie, linens and housewares. Trousseaus became less common after WWII. Explore hidden treasures from the Museum’s collection. Some seen for the first time! Free admission. The Museum is located at 134 Main Street, South, Newmarket. Hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. COVID-19 safety protocols in place.
