Aurora’s Canada Day Festivities

July 1 @ 10:00 am - 10:30 pm

Free

Celebrate Canada’s birthday this July 1 in our nation’s Birthday Town – the Town of Aurora! Join us for a day full of fun, festivities, and fireworks.

Kick off the festivities by lining the streets to watch the Canada Day Parade! Starting at 10 a.m., the parade will travel north along Yonge Street from Edward Street to Aurora Heights Drive. It’s a true community spectacle filled with floats, music, and all things red and white!

The party continues from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Aurora’s Lambert Willson Park, where you can enjoy live entertainment and free family activities that’ll keep the little ones entertained! Make sure to participate in this year’s Canada Day Passport – a fun, interactive journey through each province and territory’s history and culture. And, of course, there’ll be many tasty food vendors to satisfy all your cravings!

As the sun sets, get ready to rock out with back-to-back live performances in the park, starting at 7 p.m. At 10 p.m., prepare for a show-stopping fireworks display that will light up the night sky!

Bring your friends, family, and your Canadian spirit for a day of celebration you won’t forget!

We can’t wait to see you there! For more information, please visit aurora.ca/CanadaDay.
