Show Synopsis
On a Friday afternoon after work, four employees of the company – a widow, a man in a wheelchair, a former sports captain and a secretary – wait for a bus that will run for the last time. While exposed to the weather and geography on this critical day, they share their life stories and help each other.
The play takes place in the twentieth century before the age of cell phones. The action illustrates how complicated life was without the sophisticated technology we take for granted today. Current issues such as poverty, loneliness, mental health and physical challenges surface in this one act play.
