Learn to Carve a Wooden Spoon

Join us for a 4.5 hour hands on workshop where we will provide you with a wooden spoon blank and introduce you to a variety of Knife grips. Knife safety will be addressed as will Covid protocol to ensure a safe carving session. Some additional knife sets will be available to use, however, we strongly recommend that you bring your own carving knives.

Please bring a bagged lunch and enjoy the property during a noon lunch break.

As it is important that every carver learns to carve with their own tools, we highly recommend that you come prepared with carving tools. Please contact us in advance if you have any questions about your tools. Extra sets are available to experiment with including a Mora Carving Knife and a Mora Hook Knife. Safety gloves are not provided, but again, are recommended for beginners.
