Newmarket Artisans’ Holiday Show and Sale

Looking for unique, handmade gifts this Holiday Season? Matsu Jewellery is hosting an ARTISANS’ HOLIDAY SHOW and SALE featuring a wonderful selection of handmade products by 13 local artists. The show will be open for a 10 day period at the Matsu showroom in Newmarket, Ontario: 1235 Gorham Street, Unit 1. The pop-up event runs from December 11th to 19th and is open weekdays from 11am to 6pm and 11am to 5pm on the weekends. This show has been curated with gift-giving in mind and will feature a wide selection of items including: mixed media art, paintings, jewellery, ceramics, hand-dyed silk scarves & pillows, wood crafts, ceramic tile art, one-of-a kind linocut cards and ornaments, bath & body products and cozy up-cycled mittens. This will be the third year the pop-up has operated from the Matsu showroom in Newmarket.
Matsu Jewellery. Contemporary hand-wrought jewellery in sterling silver and gold.
The Knotty Magpie / Jane Baker. Jewellery featuring hand-forged sterling silver chains and cast elements, beads and semi-precious stones.
Rhonda Uppington. Ceramic tile art for the wall and holiday ornaments.
gracklecafe / Lydia Uppington. One-of-a-kind linocut cards and 3D paper ornaments-all original prints are assembled by hand.
Josée Savaria. Mixed media paintings and gift cards portraying fanciful, playful depictions of our world that convey happiness and wonder.
Bill Lunshof Fine Art. Oil on canvas works that capture the beauty and light of the natural world as well as unique gift cards.
Jane Jacobs. Scarves and pillows with a natural story, hand-dyed with Ontario botanicals.
Teresa Dunlop Ceramics. Finely crafted objects that are both useful and beautiful.
Zorina’s PurEssentials. Natural skincare and bath products for the entire family.
Ali Lynch Designs. Contemporary serveware and tabletop accessories, featuring original abstract art and paper collage.
Brian Frost Woodworking. Beautiful and useful one-of-a-kind grinders and salt and pepper sets, end grain cutting boards made from exotic wood, live edge pieces.
Cozy Mitts by Lorraine. Upcycled wool sweaters, refreshed and revived into mittens that will make you want to see snow!
Sweets and Treats. Handmade chocolates and treats packaged for gift-giving.
