If you like to sing and have always had the desire to join an ensemble, now may be your chance.

Chorus York is a growing community auditioned soprano, alto, tenor and bass (SATB) choir that was formed in 2016 and has more than 30 members. Driven by a passion for singing, Chorus York set out to inspire the growth of choral music in York Region through the performance of a variety of choral music ranging from Bach to Broadway, Show Tunes to Classical.

Chorus York is led by director Stéphane Potvin, an accomplished, creative conductor recognized for his impeccable technique, highly efficient rehearsal technique, and his profound and inspirational approach to music making. With more than 20 years of experience, Potvin is able to coax lyrical performances from orchestras, choirs and chamber ensembles alike. A respected composer, arranger and clinician, he also has a wealth of experience in education and adjudication.
