The York Region Arts Council and Experience York Region are responsible for arts and tourism promotion throughout all nine municipalities – Town of Georgina, Town of East Gwillimbury, Town of Newmarket, Town of Aurora, Town of Richmond Hill, King Township, Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, City of Vaughan, and City of Markham.
We are currently looking to hire three people to join the team above for the following summer positions: Event Co-ordinator; Marketing Co-ordinator and Administrative Assistant.
One successful candidate for each position will be required to work remotely 30 hours per week for 16 weeks with a start date between May 16 – 30, 2022. Wage will be $16 per hour.
To be eligible, you must:
- be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period
- be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment and;
- have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
