It’s a great way to get some alone time or reconnect with family and friends. And it doesn’t matter your style – car camping, tent camping or RV camping – York Region’s got you covered.

Here are some local camp sites to check out this summer:

Bare Oaks is a year-round naturist park where the entire family can experience traditional naturist values in a modern setting. Naturism is more than just taking your clothes off. Sibbald Point has six group sites that accommodate 15 – 50 people. Water taps and vault toilets are available on site. Sites are a 15 minute walk to the beach and a five minute walk to the comfort station. The sites are available primarily for youth groups. Reservations can be made online or by phone.  The campsite also offers car-camping in 10 different campgrounds, offering both electrical and non-electrical sites.

 Neezh Meegwunun – Georgina Island

This family campground on Georgina Island offers sites with no restrictions on the number of tents. Arrangements can be made for hydro, but you must call ahead and there’s an extra charge.
