Callimachus – Until May 15

This dark yet comedic play will be presented as an interactive live performance/video experience. We begin at the Newmarket Library where audience members retrieve an iPad.  With the help of a Shadowpath guide, they’ll pick up the action with live actors along Main Street until they end at a secret location. Plant and pop-up art sale at King Heritage & Cultural Centre – May 14

On Saturday, May 14, Arts Society King and the Nobleton King City Garden Club present Spring Blooms – plant and pop-up art sale at the King Heritage & Cultural Centre from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Garden Club will be selling locally grown plants and garden accessories outdoors on the beautiful grounds. The Emperor – May 14

“The Emperor”. Power. Greed. Love. Forgiveness: Traits that embody the best and worst leaders, of past and present. Join the York Chamber Ensemble while exploring the tale of the merciful Titus, in Mozart’s “Overture to La Clemenza di Tito”. Fourteen-year-old local piano sensation Jarmin Weng joins the full orchestra (including wind players) in a performance of Beethoven’s last Piano Concerto No. 5, nicknamed “Emperor”.
