York Region Arts Council hosting The Artists’ Circle

Come out and meet the creative community of York Region.

The York Region Arts Council is excited to host the first Artists’ Circle Event!

The Artists’ Circle is open to the public and will be an exciting networking and social event for YRAC members, local artists, arts organizations, and tourism stakeholders from around the region!

Enjoy a fun evening including performances and exhibitions by the 2022 York Region Art Award nominees, guest speakers, wine tastings, a virtual silent auction and more!

KEYNOTE SPEAKER – Kevin Ormsby, CPAMO Program Manager & Artistic Director of Kashedance on the “ART OF COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT”

FREE BUS SHUTTLE – YRAC is partnering with BREWBUS to offer a FREE shuttle service between VMC Subway and the King Heritage & Cultural Centre – Pick up from VMC Subway starting at 4:30 pm and departing at 4:45 pm. 8:00 pm departure from King Heritage & Cultural Centre with drop-off at VMC at 8:15 pm.

DRIVING – There is lots of free parking available on site!

WINE TASTING – FREE wine tasting will be provided by the Holland Marsh Winery. Wine served by the glass will be available for $5.

ADMISSION: General admission is free for current YRAC members. (Please reach out to Chrissy@yorkregionartscouncil.com if you’re unsure if your membership is current).

General Admission is $15/person. This admission fee also registers you to become a “Friend of YRAC” for one year!

VIRTUAL SILENT AUCTION: A virtual silent auction will be launching on September 28, 2022 in partnership with Silent Auction Canada. Stay tuned for details and to place your bids! All funds raised will go to support the York Region Art Council’s important key programming initiatives including Local Pairings, the York Region Art Awards, YRAC Membership Program, The Experience Trail, and Experience York Region.
