Local Pairings is a new program launched by the York Region Arts Council that engages artists, venues, and event organizers to partner with York Region Arts Council in activating arts across York Region.

The goal of Local Pairings is to provide artists and organizers with mutually beneficial opportunities to come together, share resources, and ultimately share space for cultural expression.

In collaboration with Experience York Region, Local Pairings not only promotes artistic engagement, but encourages connectivity between the region’s nine municipalities. We believe that community is located at the heart of this collaboration.

The York Region Arts Council invite artists, venues and event organizers to share information about their art practice, venue, or events.
