The Artist Portal provides individual artists, artist collectives, and arts organizations the opportunity to connect and grow their network in a significant way. It is also a tool for the broader York Region community, Municipalities, and local businesses to connect with artists in a more meaningful way with the goals of increasing awareness and infusing arts and culture within our communities through increased opportunities for artists, new connections, and promotional capabilities. Today we're highlighting another YRAC Artist Membe

Today we're highlighting another YRAC Artist Member! We are excited to share more about Abstract Artist, Daniel Gray @dgabstracts! Calling Thornhill, Ontario home, emerging abstract artist Daniel Gray loves to paint large. His largest to date is called Shining Hope (slide 4). A 60x48in beauty. His second largest painting to date is called Radiance (slide 3). A triptych with a total size of 36x72 inches. Daniel uses acrylic paint along with gesso, modeling paste and sand as texture. Daniel calls Jackson Pollack, Lori Mirabelli along with his 7 grandchildren as the inspirations behind his paintings. Check out his work on his website: www.dgabstracts.org.
