Have you ever wanted to know where you can find the best Caribbean food in York Region?

Well, wonder no more, because we’ve enlisted professional foodies Aashim & Amaara from Seed.Eat.Repeat to highlight the places you must try in York Region.

With more than 15,000 followers on Instagram and 100,000 on TikTok, Aashim and Amaara have a knack for finding and tasting worthy meals across the GTA, and we’re pleased to say, they’ve done it again.

With the Toronto Caribean Carnival happening this weekend, there’s an emphasis on Caribean culture, and what better way to celebrate the culture than eating some of the yummy foods that go hand in hand with carnival.

So where do they recommend?

1) @jamaicanbbqto – a super hidden gem in Markham, in front of an old burger spot. They got the braised oxtail bowl and jerk chicken poutine. They’ll be moving to a brick-and-mortar in Stouffville soon.

2) @anealstasteoftheislands – the pride of Richmond Hill’s Caribbean community, Aneal cooks up some amazing Trini food.

3) Enmore Nanking – a Vaughan staple for Caribbean-Chinese cuisine. They got the special fried rice, pepper shrimp lo mein, and aloo balls with the mango hot sauce.
