This fall, Halloween Haunt returns to Canada’s Wonderland with a sinister transformation, turning the theme park into a scream park filled with Halloween attractions that offer unforgettable thrills and unspeakable horror.

Immerse yourself in the nightmare of Haunt, a Halloween event where the streets are filled with terror, including hundreds of monsters, terrifying scare zones and mazes, ghoulish street performers, live music, thrilling night rides, and electrifying live shows.

Camp Spooky returns to Canada’s Wonderland in fall 2022 with family-friendly daytime Halloween activities and attractions every weekend. If you’re looking for things to do with the kids this Halloween, look no further! Included with Park Admission, Camp Spooky features trick-or-treating, a kids’ Halloween costume parade, live shows with The PEANUTS gang, all your favourite rides, and much more!

Art of Plenty: Art Show and Sale – Until Oct. 16

The Varley-McKay Art Foundation of Markham is pleased to present the Art of Plenty: Art Show and Sale fundraiser. Join us at the McKay Art Centre until Sunday, October 16, 2022, to see a variety of art produced by local artists. A portion of the sale of each artwork helps the Varley-McKay Art Foundation of Markham continue to provide support to the Varley Art Gallery of Markham, a vital cultural hub in our community.

From October 5 to 16 admission to the art show is free of charge.Dance Together Festival – Until Oct. 15

The Dance Together Festival and York Region Arts Council (YRAC) bring FREE outdoor workshops to York Region this fall to celebrate positive and accessible dance experiences. Each activation includes two diverse style community dance workshops with music suited for all ages and all abilities!

Join us for Cuban Fusion, Waltz, Ukrainian Folk Dance, Afro-fusion, Hip Hop, Salsa and more!

The Artists’ Circle – Oct. 12

The York Region Arts Council is excited to host our first Artists’ Circle Event!

The Artists’ Circle is open to the public and will be an exciting networking and social event for YRAC members, local artists, arts organizations, and tourism stakeholders from around the region!

Come and enjoy a fun evening including performances and exhibitions by the 2022 York Region Art Award nominees, guest speakers, wine tastings, a virtual silent auction and more!
