Kindred Spirits Orchestra to perform Capriccio Italien
Under the direction of Maestro Kristian Alexander, the Kindred Spirits Orchestra performs a night of exceptional and evocative music. Tchaikovsky’s poignant Capriccio Italien is a musical travelogue painting the landscape of the composer’s journey to Rome. Internationally acclaimed violinist Conrad Chow commands the stage with Korngold’s romantic film-score inspired Violin Concerto. From seemingly inconsequential playful musical quotes to deeply profound phrases, Shostakovich’s ultimate Symphony No. 15 embodies a range of musical emotion analogous to the composer and his life.
