The centre has announced its 2022/2023 season – Back to Live – and it’s chalk full of excellent talent.
Canadian rocker Tom Cochrane – and his backing band Red Rider – kick off the season on Friday, September 16 with a show loaded with hits, including his most popular tracks Life is a Highway, No Regrets and Mad Mad World. A dozen days later, Sept. 28, American comedian and Las Vegas staple Rita Rudner pulls into town.The following night, Sept. 29, Canadian legends The Downchild Blues Band take over the stage.
October sees Pink Floyd tribute band Floydium (Oct. 8), Men of the Deep (Oct. 13), Bob Seger tribute Classic Seger (Oct. 20), Classic Albums Live – Aretha Franklin, Aretha’s Gold (Oct. 21), The Northern Happiness Tour featuring The Pursuit of Happiness and The Northern Pikes (Oct. 25) and, to close out the month, Mohsen Namjoo in concert (Oct. 28).
November opens with Canadian rockers April Wine (Nov. 3), followed by Menopause The Musical (Nov. 8), comedian Jeremy Hotz (Nov. 9), Choir! Choir! Choir! (Nov. 18) and closes with Serena Ryder (Nov. 25).

The New Year welcomes a new work – Prophecy Fog by Jani Lauzon – on Jan. 19. Eagles tribute band Hotel California is in on Jan. 20. Classic Albums Live presents Billy Joel – The Stranger on Jan. 28.On February 10, it’s HYPROV – Improv under Hypnosis, followed by Paddington Gets in a Jam (Feb. 12), Africville Stories (Feb. 15), Canadian singer Jann Arden (Feb. 17). February closes out with Cirque Kalabante (Feb. 28).
March starts off with Classic Albums Live – The Beatles, Let It Be (March 2), followed by Adrian Sutherland (March 9), Splash’N’Boots (March 14) and Bachman and Bachman (March 25).
April’s lineup starts with America’s Got Talent semi-finalists Lightwire Theatre and its take on The Ugly Duckling story (April 4), Night Fever presents the music of The Bee Gees (April 5), Big Wreck (April 6), Classic Albums Life – Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon and closes out with Jesse Cook (April 21).
